Jackie Cassidy ) serves as the Head Cheerleading Coach at Spotswood High School. A proud alumna of Spotswood High School, Class of 2008, Cassidy is a former varsity cheerleader and team captain who has truly come full circle in her coaching journey.

Cassidy’s coaching philosophy centers on growth, accountability, and positivity. She believes cheerleading should develop not only strong technical skills, but also confidence, teamwork, and leadership. Drawing from her background as an early elementary school teacher, she emphasizes clear expectations, consistent communication, and age-appropriate instruction. Cassidy fosters a supportive environment where athletes are encouraged to challenge themselves, support one another, and represent Spotswood with class, sportsmanship, and pride. Her goal is to create a program where student-athletes feel valued, prepared, and empowered—both on the sidelines and beyond the season.
