Andy Steinfeld is the new Head Football Coach at Spotswood High School, where he is committed to instilling the core principles of the Chargers Football Program every day: Work Hard. Compete. Do It Right.

A 2021 Coach of the Year, Coach Steinfeld brings more than 30 years of coaching experience to the Chargers program. His distinguished career includes two state championships as an assistant coach in 2004 and 2009, as well as five years as Head Coach at East Brunswick High School. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for strong leadership, player development, and building successful, competitive programs grounded in character and accountability. 

Alongside a talented and dedicated staff of assistant coaches, Coach Steinfeld is focused on developing student-athletes both on and off the field. His approach emphasizes discipline, teamwork, resilience, and personal responsibility, helping players grow not only as athletes but also as leaders within their school and community.

Coach Steinfeld values the strong sense of community and family that defines the Spotswood Football Program. He believes those relationships are the foundation of long-term success and are reflected in the commitment and pride demonstrated by players, coaches, families, alumni, and supporters. By fostering a positive culture built on trust, hard work, and mutual respect, he aims to strengthen the tradition of Charger football while preparing the program for continued success in the years ahead.
